Privacy Policy

Squada is a private fantasy group app for friends. This Privacy Policy explains what information Squada collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion of their account and data.

Information we collect

We collect account and profile information such as email address, username, phone number, age, gender, country, football position, player ratings, and authentication identifiers. We also store content and gameplay data you create or join, including groups, squads, memberships, join requests, invite codes, match activity, attendance, points, rankings, achievements, reactions, and comments.

When you send feedback or request support, we store your account identifier, email address, subject, message, request status, and timestamps. If you enable notifications, we store your notification permission status and APNs or Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token so notifications can be delivered to your device.

Photos, videos, and device permissions

Squada does not currently allow users to upload profile photos or videos, and we do not collect or upload user photos or videos. Camera access is used only to scan group invite QR codes. QR camera frames are processed for scanning and are not uploaded to Squada's servers.

Photo library access is used only when you choose to save a generated share card on your device. Squada does not read your photo library or upload saved share cards. Notification permission is used to send group, match, and account-related notifications.

Analytics and diagnostics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect product-interaction events, app-instance and device identifiers, approximate region, and app or device information so we can understand feature usage and improve the product. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crashes, non-fatal errors, stack traces, and related diagnostic information. Diagnostic reports may be associated with an account identifier to help us investigate problems.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate groups and squads, process invitations, show rankings and match data, send notifications, prevent abuse, improve performance, and provide user support.

Data sharing

We use service providers such as Firebase/Google Cloud to host, authenticate, store, analyze, and deliver the app. Group content may be visible to other members of the same group according to the app's features. We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the Squada app from Settings. You can also request deletion using the Delete Account page. Account deletion removes your authentication account and app-owned personal records where possible. Some historical group or match records may remain in anonymized or structural form when needed to preserve league integrity for remaining members.
